The building was acquired in 1928 by the AJF association (Amies de la Jeune Fille, Compagna as of 1999) to create a home and a placement bureau for young women. Until today, Pension Bienvenue is up and working.

On may 1st, 2018, the building was transferred to compagna conviva foundation and the management of the pension was taken over by Bienvenue SA. The management company is a daughter of Sinn & Gewinn Hotels, who manages three more hotels / guesthouses with social impact: Alma Hotel, hotel marta und Josephine's Guesthouse for Women.

The real estates of all the mentioned hotels and guesthouses belong to compagna conviva Foundation. 

The first and foremost goal of Bienvenue SA is to offer housing to women in transition times in their lives: A cozy and affordable place where they will find the peace and quiet to plan their future.   

Pension Bienvenue relies on the rental of the rooms and donations.
